Administrator’s Address

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

First and foremost, we would like to welcome everyone to our school, Harmony School of Innovation.   We are an exciting part of the Harmony Schools System which currently has 25 campuses in the Texas areas and growing!

 

Our campus opened doors in 2005 with a student enrollment of only 150 students.   We have quickly grown over the years and our current enrollment is over 600 students.    Two years in a row, our school has been rated as “Exemplary” by the Texas Education Agency!

  

We are different from other charter and public schools because we pride ourselves to be innovators when it comes to educating the future minds of the World.   Our staff is committed to helping our students succeed in their educational endeavors.   Our students are offered ample opportunities to participate in academic and social gatherings.   We offer after-school clubs, tutorials, sport activities, field trips, and other extra-curricular activities.   We work closely with our teachers, students, and parents to minimize the gap that hinders advance learning.  In order to help our students achieve their educational goals, we ask for your support and active involvement in our school and your child's education. The following are ways you can get involved:

 

  • Join the PTO!  Our school is in need of strong, dedicated members to play an active role in supporting the needs of our students and teachers.  If you would like to be a part of PTO, please contact Ms. Baca at mbaca@harmonytx.org.
  • Volunteer!  We need volunteers to assist teachers with copying, cutting, etc.  We also need volunteers to read to our students during school hours and volunteers to help our librarian.  We also need volunteers to help with events such as field day and other school functions.  Contact the school if you would like to contribute your some of your time for the students and teachers.
  • Read With Your Child!  We would love for each of our parents to read a book with their child each night.  Instilling a love for reading in your child is a great gift to give! 
  • Contact Your Child's Teacher!  Teachers love hearing from their parents.  Let them know they are doing a great job!  If you have concerns, please feel free to contact your child's teacher through email, phone, or by sending notes.  Communication is the key to a successful bond between teachers, parents, and students.
